Job Summary :

Central 1 is seeking an ambitious and dynamic individual to join our FP&A team to provide financial support for our Treasury Group.

As an experienced finance business partner you will be a strategic thinker capable of developing and growing relationships whilst ensuring the integrity of output through rigorous controls and a detailed understanding of the business.

This role would be suited to a FP&A professional eager to enhance their understanding of Treasury products, offering invaluable insights and strategic guidance.

What you'll be doing :

As an integral leader within the Finance function, the Senior Manager will :

• Be responsible for developing and enhancing the FP&A support provided to the Treasury Group, including actual reporting, forecasting and budgeting.
• Strong collaboration with other finance teams to generate synergies and standardization of processes and outputs in order to create capacity for value add activities.
• Build relationships with senior leaders in Treasury, gaining a deep knowledge of that area and providing insight into financial data that influences decision-making.
• Act as accounting advisor for Treasury business units by providing accounting analysis on potential new products and services, and other accounting considerations.
• Demonstrate leadership behaviours aligned with Central 1's core values of being curious, collaborative, and courageous, and
• Work the wider FP&A team to ensure results are delivered consistently, professionally and clearly, highlighting key assumptions and potential risks to drive and support recommendations for business decisions.

What you'll have :

• Undergraduate degree in Finance, or Business, with at least 10 years of experience partnering businesses or leading teams
• A professional finance and / or accounting designation with related progressive experience in financial institutions in FP&A roles.
• Experience in, or finance support of a Corporate Treasury, Global Markets or Product Control function, including interest rate risk management, liquidity management, and funds transfer pricing (FTP) would be considered advantageous.
• Exceptional written and oral communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate technical and detailed information to various stakeholders along with performance storytelling.
• Strategic focus coupled with the ability to "deep dive" when required.
• Mental and personal agility to effectively deal with ambiguity and change.
• Strong attention to detail; and analytical, problem solving, organizational and time management skills.
• Leadership presence and ability to build credibility with subordinates, peers, and senior leadership.
• Collaboration skills and the ability to drive enterprise-wide change through relationship building.
• Effective consensus and trust building, conflict resolution, change management and team-building skills, including being a role model, and imparting knowledge and experience, to junior team members.

Salary Range : $116,00-$125,000

The salary represents the job rate determined for the successful candidate who is fully competent in the role. The actual salary will vary depending on market conditions and relevant job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience, and education / training.
