What you'll be doing

The Senior Consultant, Executive Reporting & Business Insights is a key member of the Chief Security Office (CSO) Shared Services team .

Reporting to the Director - Business Management & Insights, the Senior Consultant will support the portfolio, taking ownership for in-depth investigations, reviews and reporting of CSO performance analysis and reports and ensuring all appropriate controls are in place to achieve standardized, accurate, auditable and reliable reporting to CSO EVP, TI&I SEVP, ExCo and the CIBC Board of Directors.

Research and analyze CSO performance to ensure consistency and clear communication.

Strategic Thinker - Facilitate the development and process improvemens to a suite of Executive reports in order to provide management and executives with high level visibility into the respective lines of business within CSO.

Determine future vision and strategy for enhancing the performance measurement and reporting mechanisms to allow comprehensive business analysis and risk management within CSO.

Strategic Advisor - Provide technical and operational expertise based upon detailed knowledge of reporting and key performance indicators to direct and influence senior management in the continued development of Business Insights and reporting environment.

Clear Communicator - You have impeccable communication skills. Your communication style is clear and concise, such that you establish yourself as a trusted consultant for all CSO Executive Reporting and Insights.

Relationship & Partner Management - Develop and maintain productive relationships with designated business owners and lines of business peers to promote the exchange of best practices and process improvements.

Who you are

You can demonstrate 5-10 years+ experience in : Agile Project Management, Financial Industry and / or Wealth knowledge. Working knowledge of : Tableau, MS Power Platform or Workflow automation suites will be considered an asset.

You can demonstrate a thorough understanding of executive performance reporting and business insights. You have mature strategic business-planning skills with the ability to develop plans / tactics to support strategies & objectives.

You understand that success is in the details. You notice things that others don’t. Your critical thinking skills help to inform decision making.

Understand concepts related to new and evolving business needs, can get up to speed quickly with regard to new subject matters and is able to deal with changing circumstances.
