Role Summary :

We are currently recruiting for a detail-oriented, team player to support our organization as Senior Financial Analyst on the Business Performance team for a 16 month contract.

The successful candidate will support in delivering accurate and timely management reporting, analytics and forecasting into all financial aspects of the business to influence decision making.

Support the development and maintenance of all financial reporting and co-ordination of the key annual planning forecasting cycles in the business.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Prepare and analyze the monthly financial close for area of responsibility in the Sales and / or Marketing organization.
  • Assess the impact of month results on future forecasts and required actions by teams.
  • Partner with the commercial organization in the co-ordination of monthly forecasting & annual planning processes.
  • Monitor, forecast and challenge variances to ensure budget compliance with business unit owners.
  • Proactively support business unit managers to provide them with monthly reports and commentary.
  • Track and monitor ROI on innovation, trade and / or brand investment, including brand profitability, marketing spends analyses, and other commercial investments.
  • Develop and maintain monthly risk and opportunities analysis and reporting by leveraging our Sales and Operations Planning processes.
  • Lead with a growth mindset to drive simplification and automation of existing processes.
  • Perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned or required.

What you bring :

  • Education : University Degree (preference to Accounting or Business Administration)
  • Experience : 3-5 years experience in progressive Finance roles
  • Qualifications, Certifications or Designations : CPA or MBA
  • Strong interpersonal skills and excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience with financial forecasting tools and financial modelling
  • Proven track record of success in financial planning, analysis, and reporting.
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly adapt; maintain focus and a high degree of accuracy while working with complex data in an environment of ever-changing deadlines, priorities, and requirements.
  • Be positive, energetic, and comfortable in an open, dynamic, and collaborative company culture.
  • Experience in the wine industry or consumer packaged goods (CPG) industry is a plus.
  • Experience with Power BI, Hyperion, JDE, or other BI tools an asset.

Compensation : Budgeted Range - $75,337 - $97,754. The budgeted range takes into account several factors and qualifications that are considered in making compensation decisions including experience, education, training, licenses, certifications, and other business and organizational requirements.

Base pay is only one component of the total rewards offering at Arterra.
