We are hiring a Maintenance mechanic with experience in the food manufacturing industry for our partner in Mississauga

Permanent Position

Hours : Monday - Friday days (9-5) occasional overtime on weekends

Salary : $30-37

Responsibilities

• Responsible for equipment troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repair of conveyors, grinders, bandsaws, and vacuum pumps in food packaging facilities.
• Conduct regular preventative maintenance of heavy-duty food packaging equipment to decrease potential downtown
• Complete work orders in a timely and efficient manner
• occasional work on client's site
• installation of processing and packing equipment

Qualifications

• experience in food packaging manufacturing and industrial maintenance
• good knowledge of electro-mechanical maintenance
• ability to act as a liaison for clients
• works well under time constraints and in different environments (high heat, cold, and meat production)
• has a good driving record
