Are you ready to take the next big step in your hospitality career? Café Boulud is currently looking for a talented and dynamic Full-Time Demi Chef de Partie who shares our passion for excellence and who infuses enthusiasm into everything they do!
About the role :
We are looking for an individual who is passionate about cooking. Attention to detail and a strong work ethic are required in this position.
The Demi Chef de Partie is responsible for station prep, daily MEP and general cleanliness of their station. Working with a team in producing a premium quality product is essential.
What you will bring :
The ability to work together with other team members on a daily basis to ensure a flawlessly executed final product and the ability to work harmoniously with co-workers and supervisors is required.
Excellent communication skills are essential. They should be able to read and follow recipes and standards, train employees, and maintain health department, food quality and restaurant standards.
The position also requires continuous standing for up to 8 hours per shift and the ability to lift up to 70 lbs. This position requires an applicant with a flexible schedule and the ability to work all shifts, weekends and holidays.
Attendance for training and special events is required.
Preferred qualifications & skills :
At minimum 2 to 4 years previous kitchen / A La Carte experience in a fast paced kitchen operation
Exceptional communication skills, command of English language
A culinary training degree is preferred, but not required

Started rate of pay of $26.11 and full rate of pay of $29.01
Schedule & Hours
The ideal candidate will have a open work schedule and able to work weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
