Are you passionate about being out on the water? Do you love connecting with people? We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic person to join our team and drive rowboat sales.

We provide a training and familiarization period to help you gain expertise in our products, company culture and sales responsibilities.

Job Description

As a Whitehall rowboat salesperson, you will soon be the go-to expert for all things related to rowing. Your primary responsibility will be to help customers find the rowboat of their dreams and ensure they have an unforgettable experience on the water.

You will provide exceptional customer service, guiding them through the selection process, answering questions, and addressing any concerns they may have.

You are expected to work from our office and manufacturing facility in Victoria, BC.

Responsibilities

Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner, building rapport and trust.

Educate customers on the various rowboat models, features, and benefits.

Assist customers in selecting the perfect rowboat based on their needs, preferences, and budget.

Conduct product demonstrations, showcasing the rowboats' performance and functionality.

Provide accurate and detailed information and quotes regarding pricing, financing options, and warranties.

Respond quickly to inquiries and track interactions with customers so that you can ensure timely follow-ups.

Collaborate with the sales team to achieve individual and team sales targets.

Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor offerings, and new product releases.

Maintain a clean and organized showroom, ensuring an inviting and visually appealing environment.

Engage on social media to build our brand, share our values and interact with customers and potential customers.

Requirements

Passion for water sports and a willingness to learn a deep understanding of rowboats and sailing.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Writing skills for communicating with a broad range of people.

Proven sales experience, preferably in the boating or outdoor recreation industry.

Strong negotiation and closing skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills.

Proficient computer skills for managing customer records, CRM, and sales transactions.
