PURPOSE
Mitsubishi Motors Canada is seeking a skilled and experienced digital marketing professional to join our dynamic marketing team.
As a Specialist, Website, you will collaborate closely with various teams, playing a crucial role in managing the development, optimization, maintenance, and analysis of the corporate website, which is Mitsubishi’s storefront and most important digital channel where customers search for our vehicles.
You will manage various projects, including analyzing the website journey, gathering actionable insights, and enhancing the website with new functionalities to ensure we deliver the most engaging digital experience in the automotive industry.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for digital marketing, strong analytical skills, and hands-on experience with website platforms and tools.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Website strategy : responsible for working with marketing team and Communications team to develop the website strategy that will deliver a top-rated customer experience and assist in achieving the corporate objectives.
Responsible for executing the website strategy in collaboration with internal stakeholders.
Website enhancement and performance optimization : identify opportunities to enhance website usability, navigation, and accessibility to improve the user experience.
Implement user-centric design principles, including intuitive navigation, clear calls-to-action, and consistent branding, to facilitate easy navigation and interaction for visitors.
Work alongside external partners to optimize the website content for search engines (SEO) by incorporating relevant keywords, meta tags, etc.
Ensure the website is optimized for mobile devices to provide a seamless and responsive user experience across all devices.
Implement best website optimization practices, including optimizing visual elements for faster loading times and better performance across devices and screen sizes.
Implement performance optimization techniques, such as caching, image compression, and lazy loading, to improve website loading times.
Collaborate with the marketing team to execute strategies for driving website traffic, increasing conversions, and improving overall website performance.
Website analysis : comprehensively analyzes website performance, user behaviour, and traffic patterns to drive continuous improvement and optimization efforts.
This involves leveraging various tools and techniques to gather insights from multiple analyses, such as traffic, user behavior, content performance, SEO, technical performance, and conversion rate optimization.
Website maintenance : update content on a regular basis in collaboration with marketing communications plus identify gaps in content and work with internal stakeholders to address these opportunities.
Lead the development and maintenance of the website, ensuring all functionalities work appropriately on the front and back end.
Conduct regular performance audits and diagnostics to identify and address bottlenecks and other factors impacting website speed, performance, and accuracy.
Website project coordination : serve as the primary point of contact for web-related projects, coordinating with internal teams, external vendors, and stakeholders to ensure timely and successful project delivery.
Define project objectives, milestones, and deliverables, and develop project plans and timelines to guide project execution.
You will facilitate cross-functional collaboration and communication, ensuring project requirements, timelines, and dependencies are aligned.
As a project manager, you will monitor project progress, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and proactively identify and address any issues or risks that may impact project delivery.
Marketing Innovation : Stay current on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies
REQUIRMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience managing websites.
- Proficiency in web analytics tools like Google Analytics 4, content management systems like Adobe Experience Manager, and data visualization platforms like Marketing Cloud Intelligence (Datorama).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and draw actionable insights.
- Familiarity with heat mapping tools, session recording tools, and other user behaviour-tracking technologies.
- A good understanding of SEO (search engine optimization) and experience implementing back-end enhancements.
- Relevant certifications in website analytics, project management or related fields are desirable.
