Position : Sales Representative GTA
Location : Toronto
We are looking for a high energy sales professional who has great business acumen with a proven track record of delivering results by deploying rigorous sales processes.
You will be accountable for delivering the sales targets for the territory and you will join a high-performing cross-functional sales team focused on growth with a purpose.
What will you do?
- Generate new business by creatively expanding existing accounts
- Proactively own renewals in key accounts
- Deliver and exceed sales targets for the territory
- Evaluate and prepare business plans for each assigned account. This involves evaluating the customer profile, creating value messaging, and targeting key steps needed to execute the account plans
- Develop important and effective relationships within the account including Key Executives and translate customer challenges and opportunities into unique business value
- Manage accounts through entire sales process; Outside field sales position, physically at customer location for business development, prospecting, and specifications through contract negotiations, signing, and post-sales support
- Reach out and provide regular customer feedback to the product, industry & strategic marketing teams to help identify product strengths and areas of improvement
- Stay current in knowledge of product features (including competitor technology), legislation and regulations
- Travels to, and visits premises, completes surveys, determines objectives / requirements, and provide technical solutions that will best meet the needs of the customer
What are we looking for?
- Minimum of 3 years’ sales experience within the lighting industry - with emphasis on LED lighting sales
- Excellent working knowledge of lighting controls and LED lighting
- Proven track record of high sales performance, including meeting / exceeding sales targets, or very recognizable sales skills with potential to enhance
- The ability to effectively communicate, resolve conflicts, and to manage time
- Strong sales process and account planning skills
