Maintenance Manager to lead the overall maintenance operations of the facility. In this key role, you will manage equipment installation, repair, and preventative maintenance, ensuring that the production lines operate smoothly and safely.
You will collaborate closely with multiple departments to maintain high levels of operational efficiency while complying with health and safety standards.
Your key responsibilities will be :
- Lead the installation and setup of new machinery and systems.
- Implement preventative maintenance programs aimed at reducing downtime and maximizing equipment longevity.
- Supervise all maintenance and repair tasks to ensure quality and timeliness.
- Act quickly to diagnose and resolve equipment breakdowns, minimizing operational interruptions.
- Establish a tracking system to analyze breakdowns and implement corrective actions.
- Oversee the inventory of essential spare parts, ensuring availability to avoid production delays.
- Streamline spare parts management to guarantee easy accessibility.
- Manage performance, relationships and contracts with external vendors.
- Supervise external contractors when they are working on the site.
- Ensure Vendors / Contractors abide by health and safety policies.
- Ensure all maintenance operations meet health, safety, and food safety regulations.
- Conduct regular safety inspections, addressing any compliance issues proactively.

- BA in Engineering - Technical diploma is required although an Engineering degree is highly preferred.
- 5+ years of maintenance experience, ideally in food processing or a related industry.
- Expertise in maintaining and trouble shooting, repairing industrial equipment, with a focus on food processing, packaging and cooling systems.
- Strong understanding of regulatory compliance, particularly in health and safety.
- Problem-solving mindset with the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate across teams.
- Relevant certifications in facility maintenance or related disciplines are a plus.
- A genuine passion for the food industry.
