We are a heart-centered, agile, and innovative organization, currently seeking a highly skilled, motivated and experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team in a dual Clinical-Supervisory and Business-Development role.

To excel in this position, you must leverage your knowledge and expertise gained from working in both the private and public health sectors.

Your responsibilities will include providing oversight and clinical support to our Care Operations team , while also representing Gotcare as we continue to build out our business, forging public-private partnerships with community partners, health authorities, and other larger institutions.

Responsibilities

Oversight of Private Practice Business Unit :

  • Support our Operations team of unregulated professionals working in care coordination roles.
  • Conduct weekly in-person File Reviews, offering clinical insights and assistance as required.
  • Interpret and provide context for client and caregiver behaviors.
  • Collaborate with Senior Management to address operational concerns.
  • Work collaboratively with teams across the organization, including operations. business development, and product / technology, to drive strategic growth initiatives.

Engagement in Public Sector Strategic Projects :

  • Represent Gotcare in stakeholder meetings, identifying needs and collaborating on solutions.
  • Work with the CEO to oversee and provide clinical oversight on public strategic projects.
  • Offer project management support as necessary.
  • Demonstrate Gotcare's products and services at industry events.

Coaching and Mentorship :

Act as a mentor and resource for our Care Operations team, sharing knowledge and expertise and fostering their professional development, business maturation and personal growth.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree or higher in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Current license or registration as an Occupational Therapist in the relevant jurisdiction.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of clinical experience as an Occupational Therapist, with a focus on both private practice and public sector settings.
  • Strong clinical skills and expertise in evaluating and treating clients with a diverse range of conditions and diagnoses.
  • Familiarity with third party insurer schemes such as WSIB and auto insurance legislations.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Commitment to upholding ethical standards and professional integrity in all aspects of practice.
  • Experience within a private practice setting is desirable, with exposure to the daily operations considered an asset.
  • Bilingual proficiency or experience working with culturally diverse populations is a plus.
