About the Job :
LPC Construction is a high end residential renovation company kitchens and bathrooms to whole houses with 16 years of experience in the city.
We’re looking to hire a full time Project & Site Manager to lead some of our jobs in the Toronto area. Our sites are largely based in the west side of the city, ranging from downtown to Oakville.
Job Details :
- Hours are 8 : 00-4 : 00 Monday-Friday, with occasional longer days when the project demands it, but no weekend work.
- Since most of our projects are small to mid-sized renovations, with only a few guys on site, your duties will include a lot of hands-on work alongside client relations, project planning, and managing the team.
- You’ll need to be comfortable with things like scheduling sub-trades, putting together material orders, and talking through design changes with clients.
- Our work is primarily carpentry but depending on the project we may not sub everything out, so work may include everything from tile to drywall to painting, with lots of odds and ends.
- We don’t expect you to have experience in everything, but the ability to learn new skills and think on your feet will be important.
- Pay starts at $40 / hr, and we offer a comprehensive benefits package after the probation period.
Requirements :
- A driver’s license and your own vehicle.
- Your own tools, at least a basic set but more is better.
- 5 years in residential construction, or equivalent experience, ideally with experience managing teams and handling client relations.
We’re looking for someone with a good eye for detail, a strong work ethic, and the ability to communicate, coordinate, and plan.
Good people skills. Our clients often live on-site throughout the renovation, and being able to answer their questions, keep them informed, and just generally put them at ease goes a long way.
