Summary of Function : Our client is seeking a Project Manager / Technical Sales Representative with extensive experience in construction dewatering and by-pass pumping, as well as Project Management in the dewatering and by-pass industry.

The successful candidate will coordinate with the Branch Manager and Sales Team to ensure a smooth transition from planning stages to system installation stages.

Responsibilities include managing the overall direction, pricing, coordination, implementation, execution, control, and completion of awarded projects while ensuring consistency with company strategy, commitments, and goals.

Responsibilities also include expanding a specific sales territory in London, Ontario. The successful candidate must have the ability to interact and communicate with clients, government agencies and within the team to be successful.

The successful candidate will be responsible for client files and ensure attentive follow-up on estimates while assisting in the implementation of the marketing plan and sales development.

The health and safety of employees, clients and property is a key aspect of this job.Responsibilities : Establish and maintain current client and potential client relationships.

Prepare quotations for client specific needs and public tendersPrepare By-Pass plans and Discharge Plans.Prepare all pre-qualifications, presentations, billings, and submittals.

Prepare action plans and schedules to identify specific targets.Interact with engineers, clients, consultants, government agencies.

Perform follow-ups to projects and keep a record of contract awards for market assessment purposes.Visit job sites and customer offices to review their dewatering / pumping requirements.

Evaluate and aid in the design of dewatering / filtration / treatment / pumping systems.Prepare paperwork to activate and maintain contract services.

Lead the planning and implementation of project.Supervision of pumping system installation and teardown is a requirement.

Prepare presentations and sales reports.Plan and schedule project timelines.Provide direction and support to project team.

Track project deliverables using appropriate tools.Manage project budget.Assist with project resource allocation.Analyse supplier quality, availability, and costing on a regular on-going basis.

Coordinate monitoring and provide reports.Implement and manage change orders and interventions to achieve project milestones.

Ongoing reporting to Atlas’ Regional Sales Manager.Follow up for collection of payment.Participate in marketing events such as seminars and tradeshows to showcase productsOther duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Experience : Technical college / university graduate or equivalent with a minimum of 3 years of management experience.

Strong interpersonal, team building and communication skills.Background knowledge of construction, mining, and water & sewer industry is an asset.

Ability to analyze and understand Geotechnical / Hydro Geotechnical reports and data is an asset.Proven ability to create, compose and edit detailed proposals.

Must have strong computer skills and knowledge of Maximizer and Texada Inventory Software is an asset.Must have outstanding organization and planning skills.

Visibility requires maintaining a professional appearance and providing a positive company image to the public.Must have a G license in good standing.

Work requires significant local travel.Work requires willingness to work a flexible schedule and occasional overnight travel.

Ability to lift varying loads, up to 50 lbs.Must have solid job references and a clean criminal record.
