Job Description & Summary
A career in Finance, within Internal Firm Services, will provide you with the opportunity to help PwC in all aspects of our Finance internal function including financial planning and reporting, data analysis, and assisting leadership with overall strategy.
You'll focus on recording and analysing financial transactions, paying and receiving invoices, maintaining financial statement ledger accounts, and preparing analysis and reconciliations of bills to detect fraud.
Our Accounts Payable and Receivable team is responsible for performing collections activity and payment of debt activity.
You'll focus on working with senior individuals to review and produce reports related to the accounts receivable and accounts payable accounts that will assist PwC in achieving monthly collection target amounts as well as ensuring timely payment of vendor invoices.
Meaningful work you'll be part of
As a Revenue Operations Senior Manager , you will be an integral part of the finance team, reporting directly to the Corporate Controller.
You will work alongside a team of problem solvers, addressing complex business issues from strategy to execution. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to :
- Maintain strong working relationships with Corporate Controller, LoS CFOs, City Leaders, Commercial Practices Managers, and other key stakeholders
- Monitor, and work on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to revenue, billing, and collections. Ensure that these KPIs are met consistently and take proactive steps to address any discrepancies
- Perform strategic planning and priority setting for the national billing function. Identify opportunities for operational efficiency and establish related measurement metrics to assess the effectiveness of billing administrator teams
- Review and ensure the preparation of monthly financial reports, including achievement of invoicing and A / R goals. Monitor and ensure the accuracy of financial reports and review general ledger reconciliations
- Ensure superb internal and external customer service for billing preparation and collection matters across all locations and lines of service (xLOS).
Resolve escalated issues related to billing, accounts receivable (A / R), human resources, etc.
- Enforce billing and collection policies and procedures. Provide input into training documentation and ensure adherence to finance best practices
- Hire, train, supervise, coach, and manage the performance of the Commercial Practices Managers and 100+ billing administrators.
Oversee HR functions, including annual performance reviews and compensation discussions for the entire Commercial Practices team.
Develop and manage an international team, ensuring alignment with global standards and practices
- Implement and manage a backup system for Commercial Practices Managers, and act as a backup when necessary. Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures across all billing teams
- Develop and implement training strategies in collaboration with iPower training and support managers and Learning & Development (L&D) teams.
Ensure new and existing Commercial Practices Managers receive relevant training, including new hire orientation and continuous professional development
- Coach Commercial Practices Managers on issues related to contracts, billing, and A / R. Deliver performance feedback throughout the year, conduct annual reviews, and make recommendations on final ratings
- Identify and promote development opportunities for team members aligned with their skills and experience. Prepare business cases for new positions for approval by Finance Directors and Human Capital (HC)
Experiences and skills you'll use to solve
- Strong understanding of finance functions, policies, and procedures, including expertise in iPower and its application within the business
- Experience in strategic planning and operational efficiency within a revenue operations context
- Proven leadership skills in managing large, international teams and overseeing HR functions
- Ability to deliver comprehensive training programs and ensure compliance with financial policies
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with a focus on customer service and issue resolution
- Capacity to develop, monitor, and manage revenue, billing, and collection KPIs
