What you’ll do

It’s safe to say, there’s no shortage of variety in what we do. Here are some key accountabilities of the role :

  • Responsible for development and implementation of an integrated plan that enables the development and execution of key training, centralized communications, and all related project management support primarily in the areas of carriers, vendors, freight payment and Associate onboarding
  • Develops and executes (up to 12 months) the Logistics training plan, and program development to support Logistics training strategy and roadmap
  • Assesses, monitors, and provides recommended improvements for Logistics Training Programs in areas such as, but not limited to Carrier Training, Vendor Training, Associate onboarding, Freight Payment
  • Accountable for assessing and identifying gaps in training, program development and communication practices, and documenting established logistics standards for training
  • Primary liaison with L&D as a subject matter expert for reviewing and creating training and program content, in order to bridge training gaps
  • Develops communication tools and templates, to be leveraged across the Logistics function to drive more consistent and effective communication of Logistics programs to the business
  • Responsible for the creation, review, and editing of all communication for internal audiences to ensure consistent delivery and messaging to the business
  • In collaboration with Logistics leaders develops a pipeline of logistics initiatives (up to 12 months) and leverages a framework to help leaders prioritize the workload
  • Leads the implementation and deployment of large-scale initiatives and ensures long-term transition and success into the business by leading project activities following defined methodology, reporting on status to ensure assigned projects are completed on time, and business outcomes are met

What you’ll need

To begin your career with us, we require the following :

  • Minimum five (5) in Logistics Operations with an understanding of multi modal logistics
  • Post-secondary education in a related field preferred (Training, Communications, logistics, supply chain) or equivalent experience
  • Completed or working towards certificate in Adult Learning; experienced in adult learning and facilitation techniques
  • Minimum five (5) years of experience in project management of medium to large scale projects
  • Excellent project management skills including structured project methodology (, determining needs, researching existing programs, etc.
  • ensuring a strategic approach (, involving various stakeholders throughout the company) understanding and applying principles of project control, preparing and maintaining detailed development plans for projects;

Six Sigma, PMP preferred

  • Demonstrated leadership skills with ability to lead, motivate and indirect teams; act as a collaborative partner with senior management and positively influence management and staff to act in the best interest of the Company

  • Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills to effectively resolve issues and execute learning solutions by leveraging prior experiences to meet project / client needs

Salary Range : $85,430 - $129,188* year

This represents the expected hiring range and may not represent the full pay range for the position. The salary offered may be higher than the posted range depending on several factors such as relevant skills, qualifications, and experience.
