We are looking for a motivated Inside Sales Representative to join our small butmighty team!
Summary of Role :
The Technical SalesRepresentative is responsible for operating anindividual sales territory in a manner consistent with generalbusiness management principles to yield profitable sales and salesgrowth.
Responsibilities include calling on existing and potentialcustomers engineering consultants and the contractor segment in andsurrounding markets as well as increasing our client'smarket share for new and existing products meeting or exceedingannual sales and profit margin goals and working towards allcustomers being repeat customers.
Responsibilities :
- Manage territory business development througheffective networking cold calling research growing contact list andensuring that Process And Steam Specialties is at the forefront ofall local opportunities.
- Develop implement andmonitor a business plan for the individual sales territory.Generate or exceed the required rate of sales activities in thearea.
- Market and promote products to ourcustomers with the engineering knowledge service and productrelated to the steam system and industrial processes which allowour customers to improve their Process and Steam system performanceand increase their profitability.
- Logquotations and provide direction for products strategy andmargins.
- Able to complete preliminary productselection and sizing.
- Manage / participate inlarge projects as required.
- Maintaincommunication with all relevant stakeholders to ensure completetimely and accurate service delivery with every customer and everyorder.
- Liaise with Vendors and with keystakeholders regarding technical questions and pricing.
- Demonstrate a track record of exceeding targetscontinually by selling solutions to build strong customerrelationships yield customer loyalty and repeat sales.
- Accurate and timely completion of all documentation andlog all information in the CRM database all potentialusers
- Identify key accounts within theindividual sales territory allocate sufficient time and resourcesto these accounts to develop a plan of attack and maximize salesfor each account.
Experience / Education Requirements :
BA in mechanical engineering a strongasset.

Are you the ideal candidate
You have 2 years of fieldexperience in mechanical industrial Process steam system OR outsidesales experience selling a technical or industrial engineeringrelated product / Valves / ancillary line;
or equivalent combination ofeducation and experience.
- You possess insidesales experience selling electrical electronic digital / analoginstrumentation and / or building mechanical related products orservices.
- You have experience inselling / supporting valves or other engineering products (preferredbut not a must)
- You are organized anddetailoriented you provide a high degree of commitment to serviceexcellence.
- You have exceptional communicationand interpersonal skills
- You possess strongbusiness acumen and are highly analytical by nature.
- You have Intermediate computer proficiency with MS OfficeSuite
- BA in mechanical engineering a strongasset.
Compensation : Negotiable commensurate with experience
