Support P&WC to stay top-of-the-art in its Model-based Definition (MBD) / Computer-aided Design (CAD) practices, by supporting the update and implementation of MBD, current CAD methods and documentation, and validation process.
What your day will look like ?
The intern will be presented with numerous challenges and stimulations while developing project management competencies as well as analysis and communicating :
Update CAD methodologies using CATIA and various other CAx tools
Update training material
Document new process and procedures
Other CAD / Collaboration assistance as requested
Data Exchange audit - New eyes on transfer log
What you need to be successful :
Must haves :
- Be eligible to work in Canada;
- Be enrolled in a Canadian university throughout your internship;
- Be able to work on-site in the province where you are hired
- Pursuing a degree in a relevant field :
- Aerospace Engineering ; Mechanical Engineering ; Computer / Software Engineering ; Information Technology (IT)
- Experience in 3D modeling is mandatory
- Must be resourceful with good analytical thinking and a team player
Assets :
CATIA V5 (or similar software) is a strong asset
Understanding of MBD / PLM is an asset
Work Environment :
Please note that the internship will be in hybrid mode, alterning remote periods and work onsite.
