Join About the Team : The HR Generalist within TikTok R&D will play a key role in supporting our HR department in various functions including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, compliance, and benefits administration. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver with excellent communication skills and a strong understanding of HR best practices. Responsibilities : - Onboarding : Work with recruiting teams to finalize onboarding plans and coordinate with HROPs and other cross-functional teams. - Act as a point of contact for employee queries and support corporate BPs to execute on the ground, helping to address concerns and promoting a positive workplace culture.- Assist the corporate BPs in the implementation of performance processes and support managers in probation process and discussions.- Ensure employees are aware of HR policies and practices and comply with regional, state, and federal regulations.- Coordinate training programs and workshops to support employee development and growth.- Assist employees with finding the right contacts for queries and benefits. - Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures for the AMS HRBPL or the corporate BPs- Act as point of contact for Vancouver office RTO and seat reshuffling initiatives, and achieve positive employee experience in the office. This is a 6-month temporary assignment payrolled through a third-party staffing agency.

Minimum Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.- 4+ years of experience in HR or related roles.- Proactive and keen to learn with flexibility to adapt to different cultures and processes. - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. - Proficient in MS Office Suite and HRIS systems.- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.- Strong organizational and multitasking skills. Preferred Qualifications- Experience working in a start-up environment
