Your daily life :
Technical expert responsible for providing knowledge and guidance to sales teams and customers, by assessing application requirements, developing appropriate solutions and demonstrating product capabilities.
Both pre-sales and after-sales requirements are essential, including providing technical support and management of customer support cases.
Ability to support multiple product lines is a requirement.
This opportunity is ideal for someone for someone who loves to travel as part of their job. We have clients in 47 countries around the world.
Significant travel is expected, with up to 50% of the time dedicated to travel.
In this role you will :
- Support sales initiative towards reaching annual targets by providing relevant technical expertise.
- Provide customer-facing technical interactions including demonstrations, tradeshows and training courses.
- Provide remote and in-field technical support related to customer support case management.
- Contribute towards continuous improvement of products using technical feedback business case philosophy.
- Execute each technology (product line) strategy through respective marketing plans and in-field activities.
- Understand multiple technologies to align with company 'solution based' philosophy.
- Provide customer and market feedback to sales, after-sales and product management.
- Regularly update customer relationship management tool (CRM) with relevant sales & after-sales information.
- Support the R&D to elaborate new products requirements.
- Support the R&D team to make sure products test plans are aligned with customers use cases.
- Contribute to execute test plans and learn in detail how products work.
What We're Looking For :
- Relevant experience and proven success in a technical-sales / after-sales role (NDT / B2B preferred).
- Diploma in engineering, science or similar program.
- Experience in high-technologies and B2B a strong asset.
- Experience with the civil engineering markets and applications a strong asset.
- Direct technical conversations with a range of customers from technicians to management roles.
- Problem solving / engineering mindset.
- Territory management using customer relationship management (CRM) tools.
- Strong negotiation, relationship building and influencing skills.
- Regional strategic thinking working towards a global vision.
- Strong presentation and communication skills.
- Fluent in both French and English.
