Requirements :
- Education : College CEGEP or other nonuniversity certificate or diploma from aprogram of 1 year to 2 years
- Experience : 1 yearto less than 2years
Responsibilities :
- Addresscustomers complaints or concerns
- Prepare andserve specialty food at customerstables
- Present bills to customers and acceptpayment in cash credit or debit cards travellers cheques or roombillings
- Describe menu items including dailyspecials for customers
- Advise on menuselections
- Balance cash and recordsales
- Clear and clean tables trays andchairs
- Greet patrons present menus makerecommendations and answer questions regarding food andbeverages
- Serve food andbeverages
- Take orders and relay them to kitchenand bar staff
- Assist clients / guests withspecial needs
- Provide customerservice
Securityand Safety : Criminal recordcheck.
Computer and Technologyknowledge :
- Electroniccash register.
- Point of salesystem.
Work Conditionsand PhysicalCapabilities :
- Work in afastpaced restaurant or hospitalityenvironment.
- Stand for extended periods andmove throughout the dining area.
- Lift trayscarry trays of food and beverages and serve customersefficiently.
