- Thisposition is responsible for safe and efficient projectwork;
- Leadand manage project deliverables and working relationships withWoodlands peers and management regulators andclients;
- Providesenior direction business development and strategy development toWoodlands;
- Maintainregulatory compliance and best management practices for vegetationand wetlandsmanagement;
- Supportour mobile technology spatial data set integrity and web enableddashboard;
- Providesenior ecology review of reports and dataanalysis;
- Supportmentorship and inspire the professional development of Woodlandsemployees.
PositionRequirements andQualifications
- Knowledgeableof watercourse riparian and wetland ecosystems and best managementpractices;
- Knowledgeableof environmental regulatory permitting andapplications;
- UniversityDegree or technical diploma is required in Environmental EarthScience Forestry Biology orEngineering;
- Professionalregistration in one of Alberta s Professional RegulatoryOrganizations;
- QualifiedWetlands Science Practitioner and Qualified Aquatic EnvironmentalSpecialist designation is seen as anasset;
- 5 ormore years of relevantexperience;
- Advancedtechnical writing data analysis reporting and communicationskills;
- GISand geospatial data analysis knowledge or experience is consideredas anasset;
- Previousteaching experience with data or ecological based subjects isconsidered as anasset;
- Abilityto demonstrate leadership quality safety and customer servicefocus.
