POSITION OVERVIEW

As part of BDC's digital transformation, we are looking for candidates who are passionate with innovation and wish to contribute to the development of BDC's financing services and others offered to our clients via our digital channels.

Our objective is to provide an intuitive self-service and omnichannel client experience. The development of our digital services is based on automation, advanced analytics, and artificial intelligence in an agile delivery mode.

Selected candidates will join a squad responsible to deliver specific functionalities within a product team.

CHALLENGES TO BE MET

Demonstrate commitment to design, document, develop and deliver the appropriate Web technical solutions based on information architecture, functional and non-functional requirements

Define and review programming codes to ensure development standards are respected and are compatible with the software, analysis and design, following best practices for documentation

Collaborate with functional analysts to develop functional specifications in order to understand the business's solutions and complexities

Perfect and ensure the proper execution of unit tests and develop tests automation. Will also fix bugs prior to delivering the software to Quality Assurance

Participate in the implementation in various environments (development and test) up to production

Adapt to changing technology, learning and applying new methods for achieving the organization’s goals

Supplies second-level technical support in order to solve production problems and provide support according to established service levels

Perform maintenance on solutions related to the Electronic Client File (ECF)

Perform the plateform improvement

Maintain tests automation script and mulesoft API’s

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related discipline, or equivalent

Minimum of 10 years in software development experience

Knowledge of Web Development Application with Microsoft technologies (Front end or API) (Essentiel)

Knowledge of Web Microsoft .NET framework .net Core programming (6.0 an asset), C#, (Essentiel)

Knowledge of SPA (Single-Page Application Framework) - example : Angular (an asset)

Knowledge of unit testing development example : XUnit (an asset)

Knowledge of Microsoft SharePoint programming (an asset)

Knowledge of / practical experience with development methodology & best practices

Analysis, documentation and problem-solving skills.

Organizational skills, strong sense of autonomy and initiative

Knowledge of Microsoft Visual Studio and Azure DevOps (an asset)

Experience with project delivery in agile mode (Scrum, Kanban)

Fully bilingual and excellent oral and written communication skills in English and French
