IRLY is an emerging mobile dating application co-founded by internet superstar Cameron Dallas. Our mission is to revolutionize the way people connect by providing a user-friendly, innovative, and accessible platform that leverages cutting-edge technology to enhance user experience.
Currently available on iOS, we are planning to expand our technological reach by developing an Android version of the app.
Role Description
As a CTO of IRLY, you will play a crucial role in shaping the technical vision and development of our platform. This position is ideal for a dynamic, passionate leader with a proven track record in building scalable mobile applications and leading technology teams.
You will work closely with the co-founders to innovate, design, and implement technology solutions that align with our business goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, architecture, and execution of the technology roadmap from the ground up, including the strategic development of the Android app.
- Manage the entire software development life cycle, from planning and prioritization to design, development, release, and maintenance.
- Build and lead a high-performing tech team to deliver on product objectives efficiently.
- Ensure scalability, security, and performance standards are met across all tech developments.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define technical requirements and adjust technologies to enhance user satisfaction.
- Establish and supervise a dynamic development environment conducive to innovation and high productivity.
- Drive the adoption of best practices in coding, testing, and maintenance within the tech team.
- Advocate for and implement data-driven approaches to solve technical challenges.
- Direct technological audits and maintain oversight of IT and data compliance measures.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a CTO, Founding Engineer, or in a similar leadership role in a tech startup environment.
- Strong background in mobile app development, specifically iOS, with plans to expand to Android.
- Experience with Swift , Objective-C, and familiarity with Android development environments.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms, server architecture, and database management.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to work under minimal guidance.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically and execute methodically.
- Adept at handling and directing multiple priorities and projects.
- Effective communicator with the ability to engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Previous startup experience, especially in a 0 to 1 phase, is highly desirable.
