Senior Software Developer

In this role

you will have the opportunity to :

• Contributeto technical decisions affecting the development of software products
• Develop andmaintain software for various projects in a timely manner, applying commercialcomputer programming skills
• Providepolished, creative and professional products
• Contributeas a member of an Agile team, utilizing Agile development processes to ensureefficiency while maintaining product suitability and quality
• Dailydebugging, code maintenance, code review, testing for robustness and problemsolving
• Escalatedsupport may require your assistance with analysis, interpretation andresolution of customer concerns
• Createtechnical documentation as required

In order to be successful in this role, you should have :

• Universitydegree in Computer Science and / or compelling and extensive experience inreal-world applications
• Minimum 5years demonstrated development experience with C++, C#, .NET Framework
• Experiencewith cloud technologies (Azure experience will be an asset)
• Experiencewith Python, React / Redux, HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap, HTTP, JSON, JQuery,JavaScript, REST, SaaS, ASP.NET Web API
• Programmingexperience in a Windows environment utilizing C#, .NET Framework
• Confidentoral and written communication skills in English
• Team-orientedattitude and good conflict management skills
• Excellentinterpersonal skills and ability to develop and build sustainable workingrelationships
• Ability tomanage your own workload effectively and to work efficiently alongside teammembers
• Balancedand informed approach to problem solving
• Ability towork in a dynamic environment

A bonus if you have :

• Programmingexperience utilizing C++
• Experienceutilizing OpenGL or similar for 3D graphic rendering and computing
• Experienceutilizing Git, GitHub
• Experiencewith Atlassian JIRA, Confluence
• Experiencewith Build tools or Continuous Integration tools
• Geoscience / science / mathematicsinterest and / or experience
