Health Safety Environment Coordinator
This individual will be responsible for all health, safety and environmental-related operations for a fast-moving manufacturing facility.
Responsibilities :
- Establish site strategies, systems, and controls to ensure company objectives and compliance in the areas of environmental health and safety.
- Establish and report key EHS performance metrics
- Develop and maintain company-wide EHS programs
- Assess, document, and make recommendations on health and safety improvements
- Perform inspections and audits of facility, equipment and processes
- Identifying risks and making recommendations and / or improvements to current policies and practices.
Requirements :
- Post-secondary degree in Health and Safety or equivalent is strongly preferred.
- 4-5 years of similar industry experience preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal / communication skills
- Proven competency in fostering a Health & Safety environment
- Manufacturing experience required
- Environmental knowledge and experience required
