As part of WSP's Asset management team supporting our clients, as an IT Business Analyst, you'll be focusing on your primary objective which will be to helping implement technology solutions in a cost-effective way by determining the requirements of a project, analyzing client needrequirements, designing solutions, recommending system controls and protocols, and communicating clearly to stakeholders.

WeAre WSP

What you can expect to do here :

• You'll be liaising between stakeholders and IT team, translating business requirements into software requirements;
• You'll be evaluating, improving, and documenting business processes, and monitoring project deliverables;
• You'll be leading reviews of business processes, developing optimization strategies, and documenting the results;
• You'll be determining operational objectives, designing new computer programs, and improving current systems;
• You'll be providing user support, consulting with users for system needs, and ensuring the solution is efficient and cost-effective;
• You'll be improving systems by studying current practices and designing modifications, recommending controls by identifying problems;
• You'll be designing new computer programs by analyzing requirements, constructing workflow charts and diagrams, and writing specifications;
• You'll be developing specifications for programmers, overseeing implementation, and maintaining professional and technical knowledge.

What you'll bring to WSP :

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, or Computer Science
• At least ten years of experience in IT Business Analysis, preferably in a setting delivering solutions to large transportation infrastructure projects
• Experience analyzing data to draw business-relevant conclusions and in data visualization techniques and tools
• Experience reporting and presenting to senior program leadership teams
• Strong written and verbal communication skills including technical writing skills
