Senior QA Engineer
Procom is looking for a Software Quality Assurance Engineer in software development to join a growing team of developers at our clients office in Downtown Vancouver.

This engineer must be comfortable dealing with high-level specifications, working in small teams, and are involved in the product development process from start to finish.
Responsibilities - Senior QA Engineer :
- Participate in all phases of the Software Testing Lifecycle (STLC).
- Create Manual / Automated Test Cases based on product requirements and design
- Set up automation framework from scratch
- Help write Test Plans, Traceability Matrix and other test documents that improve QA processes
- Test Execution using Test Management tools such as JIRA, Zephyr, ALM, etc.
- Log defects / bugs and work with the development team to re-create them or assist with their resolution
- Create reports on test execution, defects etc.
- Review the work of QA Engineers in the team, as needed
- Oversee the work of Junior QA Engineers, as needed
- Take ownership of issues and drive them to resolution
- Work with QA Manager, UI / UX designers, technical team to effectively test the application
- Review & Analyze acceptance criteria for completeness
- Perform Regression Testing
- Other duties required by management
- Must work with limited supervision and be involved in and have input to project planning.
Mandatory Skills - Senior QA Engineer :
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or its equivalent
- Ability to work independently with minimum supervision
- 5+ years of experience in the software QA testing field
- Experienced in testing websites and mobile applications on a variety of platforms
- Knowledge of professional software engineering practices & best practices for the full software development life cycle
- Sound knowledge of QA Methodologies and best practices.
- Experienced in using JIRA, Confluence or similar applications
- Experience is Test Management Tools such as Zephyr, Polarion and other ALM systems.
- Knowledge of Agile Software development Methodology in a CI / CD environment
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience with Automation testing tools such as Selenium or Appium will be a plus
- Experience with API testing tools such as Postman, a plus
- Healthcare industry experience, a plus
