What you'll need to have
- You have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a managerial position.
- You have a minimum of 3 years of experience managing and coordinating with external service providers.
- You have proven skills in developing people, providing support, coaching, training, and career direction to others.
- You have the ability to communicate confidently and clearly in the local language in the unit as well as basic English.
- You have experience in a facilities management organization, preferably in a high-volume retail sector.
- You have an academic degree or professional qualification in Facilities Management (or equivalent) (an asset).
What you'll be doing day to day
- Be responsible to make sure that each property is managed throughout its lifetime including safety, compliance, maintenance, and improvement to ensure a safe and operational environment for the business, co-workers, customers and other stakeholders
- Develop your team’s competence and performance, ensuring a succession plan in the unit
- Be responsible for all activities related to long term planning, budget estimation, execution, follow up, forecasting and reporting within the FM scope within the unit
- Implement and evaluate supplier contracts at unit level in alignment with internal governance structure for supplier contracts to improve efficiencies / costs / equipment and quality
- Manage relationships with Business owners within the unit to ensure business needs are met by collecting requirements, setting annual goals and periodic follow ups

The starting rate / salary for this position ranges from $ $70,800 to $ $97,350 and will be based on relevant work experience.
