Course number and title : PSY 240H1F L0101 Introduction to Psychopathology and Clinical Science

Course description : A critical survey of concepts, theories, and the state of research in the area of psychopathology and therapeutic methods.

Estimated TA support : 240 hours

Estimated course enrolment : 188 students

Class schedule : Friday 1 p.m. - 4 p.m.

The delivery method for this course is currently in-person. Please note that, in keeping with current circumstances, the course delivery method may change as determined by the Faculty or the Department.

Includes vacation pay

Sessional Lecturer I : $9,457.90

Sessional Lecturer I, Long Term : $9,930.79

Sessional Lecturer II : $10,121.77

Sessional Lecturer II, Long Term : $10,326.62

Sessional Lecturer III : $10,362.76

Sessional Lecturer III, Long Term : $10,570.02

Please note that should rates stipulated in the Collective Agreement vary from rates stated in this posting, the rates in the Collective Agreement shall prevail.

Minimum Qualifications : A PhD in Clinical Psychology; past experience and demonstrated excellence teaching psychology courses in clinical psychology / psychopathology.

Preferred Qualifications : Experience teaching clinical psychology courses at the University of Toronto. Experience as a clinical practitioner in a hospital / clinic setting.

Description of duties : Includes, but not limited to, lecturing, advising students, test / final exam invigilation, reporting final marks, and supervising course TAs.
