Full Time Machine Operator 22.63/hour days 12hrs

Are you an experienced Machine Operator? We are currently hiring in Mississauga, ON!

The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of working as a Machine Operator / Support using PLC equipment in an industrial setting and is responsible for operating equipment to produce a quality finished product in a safe and efficient manner while complying with all plant GMP and Health and Safety Policies & Procedures.

Pay rate : $22.63

Available Shift Pattern :

Straight day shifts (6 AM to 6 PM)

• Schedule A : Week 1 - Monday, Thursday, Friday
• Schedule A : Week 2 - Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday, Sunday

Responsibilities

• Start and maintain operation of the line, and properly shutdown the line following a complete safety protocols
• Change dates and material according to shop order requirements
• Operate the IPC interface and / or on line labelers
• Remove jam and troubleshoot equipment to determine the cause of problems and resolve if possible
• Perform cleaning procedures and general maintenance, monitor and alert appropriate personnel for required maintenance
• Report for food safety / quality problems to personnel with authority
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Must be able to pass a criminal background check
• Willing to learn and develop Manufacturing Best Practices
• Able to work flexible hours (overtime and periodic weekends required)
• Ability to handle conflicts and provide resolutions
• Understands right first time quality
• Shows initiative, takes directions and executes plans efficiently
• Must possess technical aptitude. Technical background an asset.
• Demonstrate safe work habits and excellent work ethics
• Work well independently and as a team member
• Knowledge of SOPs cleaning, start up, safety, operation, CQP
• Must be fully vaccinated with 1st & 2nd shot
