Job Summary

We areseeking a Downstream Technology Consultant to join our GlobalManufacturing Excellence Organization under our technical supportteam.

The technical support is a multidisciplinary team responsiblefor providing the required high quality technical support to GMoperating facilities (Refineries NGLF and petrochemical plants)inside the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia & across theglobe.

Your primary role will be to support theTechnology roadmap and deployment programs which are aimed atmaximizing the technology value realization utilization andbenefits by deploying innovative and efficient solutions andtechnologies across Global Manufacturing facilities.

KeyResponsibilities :

• Analyze maintenance spending in terms of manpowerequipment materials procurement and outsourcestrategies.
• Assess planning and schedulingeffectiveness including wench time benchmarks KPIs PM andpredictive maintenance (PdM) effectiveness.
• Ensure completion of assigned maintenance work for agiven maintenance function and mentor junior GC maintenanceengineers.
• Conduct datadriven analysis tobenchmark maintenance organizations performance identify gaps anddevelop sustainable plans to close them including :
• Total spend analysis
• Maintenanceprogram effectiveness
• Total lifecycle costs ofnew assets
• Current operating costs of existingassets
• Preventive and predictive maintenancestrategies
• Value creation as cost saving / costavoidance
• Wench time vs. plan
• SAP structure table and equipmentclassification
• Planning and schedulingeffectiveness
• Technician competency andqualification program
• Maintenance budgetstrategy
• Capital project and ReliabilityAvailability and Maintainability (RAM) model amongothers.
• Benchmark andprepare reports on the effectiveness of maintenanceprocesses.
• Work on an enterprise level toforecast procurement (materials and services) strategy for annualdemand per facility.
• Assist in theimplementation of approved programs including providing informationauthoritative interpretation conducting pilot runs and conductingtraining sessions.
• Assess T&I (Turnaroundand Inspection) and turnaround programs per facility.

Requirements :

• Willingness to relocate toDhahran Saudi Arabia.
• Hold abachelors degree in Mechanical or IndustrialEngineering.
• Have a minimum of 10 years workexperience in refining or petrochemical facilities.
• Demonstrate the highest degree of technical competence inmaintenance programs and activities.
• Stronghandson experience in oil & gas maintenance organization in thefollowing fields is preferred :
