As the Strategic RiskAdvisory Business Development lead you oversee the Enterprise riskmanager practice . You will play a pivotalrole in driving growth and expansion within our ERM practice.

Youwill be responsible for identifying and cultivating new businessopportunities fostering strategic partnerships and expanding ourclient base across variousindustries.

KeyResponsibilities :

BusinessDevelopment : Develop and implementstrategies to identify and pursue new business opportunities withinthe ERM market segment.

This includes prospecting lead generationand nurturing client relationships projectexecution.

ClientEngagement : Build and maintain strongrelationships with existing clients while actively seekingopportunities to upsell additional services and solutions.

Understand client needs and objectives to provide tailored ERMsolutions that address their specificchallenges.

MarketAnalysis : Conduct market research andanalysis to identify emerging trends competitive threats andpotential areas for growth within the ERM landscape.

Use insightsto inform strategic decisionmaking and business developmentefforts.

  • ProposalDevelopment : Collaborate with internalteams to develop compelling proposals presentations and pitchesthat effectively communicate our value proposition anddifferentiate us fromcompetitors.
  • Networkingand Events : Represent AON at industryconferences networking events and trade shows to showcase our ERMexpertise and expand our professional network.

Build relationshipswith key stakeholders and influencers to enhance our visibility andreputation within themarket.

PipelineManagement : Maintain a robust salespipeline track sales activity and report on progress towardsrevenue targets.

Utilize CRM tools and systems to manage leadsopportunities and clientinteractions.

Collaboration : Work closely with crossfunctional teams including sales marketingproduct development and operations to align business developmentefforts with overall company objectives andpriorities.

Execution

StrategyDesign

  • Participatein corporate business and strategy formulation assess theunderlying risks of the corporate strategy and conduct riskbasedeffective challenge of strategicobjectives.
  • Developand maintain the Risk Appetite framework including the developmentof Risk Appetite metrics measurement monitoring andreporting.
  • Stayabreast of emerging risks and trends within geographies andindustries of business interest and ensure Aon Client s strategy iswelladapted.

CapitalManagement

  • Responsiblefor the management growth and operations of a growing book ofbusiness be aware and capable of developing economic capitalframework (Internal Capital Adequacy Assessment Process) andownership of related policies guidelines andstandards.
  • Leadthe internal capital target setting process and internal capitaladequacy assessment process (ICAAP) as well as the development andmanagement of capital management standards / guidelines andstandards.
  • Developand oversee riskbased performance management and pricingmethodologies forclients.
  • Workclosely with the lines of business to develop capitalbased tools orallocations to enhance business decision making at the transactionand portfoliolevel.

Modelsand Limits

  • Advancethe thinking on the quantification of operational and strategicrisks and other nonfinancial risks asrequired.
  • Workwith Model Governance to ensure that a strong governance frameworkis in place to manage the endtoend lifecycle for all riskmodels.
  • Ensurethe integrity of quantifying risk exposure relative to limits andupdating the limits framework for clients withinportfolio.

StressTesting Climate ScenarioAnalysis

  • Leadsales and execution of client s enterprisewide stress testing forfinancial and nonfinancialrisks.
  • Leadsales and execution of climate scenarios exercise in line with TaskForce on Climate Disclosures (TCFD) and other regulatoryguidance.
  • Leadthe discussion on insights from the stress testing and climatescenario work to ensure that actions are pursued by the relevantaccountable party (typically CRSO CFO orCOO).
  • Overseea centralized portfolio analytics function to provide a view ofportfolio risk under various scenarios to support businessstrategy.

EnterpriseRiskManagement

  • Overseeand mature the enterprise risk managementfunction.
  • Developand monitor enterprise risk framework policies standards andguidelines reporting on and monitoring Aon Client s strategic andoperationalrisks.
  • Providespecialized advice and support actions to independently overseechallenge and remediate risk findings from quality assuranceactivities.
  • Responsiblefor enterprisewide risk reporting and monitoringfunction.
  • Activelymonitor risk profile across all risk types and businesslines.
  • Continuematuring the emerging risksprogram.

Governance

  • Responsiblefor developing and monitoring risk policies standards andguidelines related to strategic operational and financial riskswithin the risk governanceframework.
  • Overseethe Risk Appetite framework including metrics definitionmeasurement monitoring and reporting and ongoing evolution to staycurrent with emergingrisks.
  • Furtherdevelop second line functionality (oversight) ensuring clear rolesand responsibilities between first and second lines appropriatetools andreporting.
  • Supportthe CRSO in managing key risk committees including the ManagementRisk Management Committee and the Board Risk ManagementCommittee.

Leadership

  • Excellentleadership skills demonstrated through providing sound guidance andcoaching to other leaders positively influencing organizationalculture and highintegrity.
  • Exceptionalrelationship building skills and the ability to hold othersaccountable without directauthority.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in business administration Marketing Finance or a relatedfield (MBApreferred).
  • Proventrack record of success in business development sales or accountmanagement with a focus on enterprise risk management or relatedservices.
  • Strongunderstanding of enterprise risk management principlesmethodologies and bestpractices.
  • Excellentcommunication presentation and negotiation skills with the abilityto articulate complex concepts in a clear and concisemanner.
  • Strategicthinker with the ability to identify opportunities anticipatemarket trends and develop actionable plans to drive businessgrowth.
  • Selfmotivatedresultsoriented individual with a demonstrated ability to workindependently and as part of ateam.
  • Proficiencyin CRM software Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant businesstools.
