We are seeking a dynamic and versatile professional to join our team as an agile project manager and business analyst. In this role, you will be responsible for facilitating the successful execution of projects, implementing agile methodologies, and ensuring effective communication between the development team and stakeholders.

This hybrid role requires a candidate who can seamlessly blend the skills of a scrum master, business analyst, and project manager to drive project success in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

YOU’LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO :

Agile project management :

  • Lead and manage the end-to-end project lifecycle, from initiation to closure, using Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, or others as appropriate).
  • Create and maintain project plans, including sprint and release planning.
  • Monitor project progress, identify and mitigate risks, and ensure timely delivery of project milestones.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with project goals and objectives.

Scrum Master :

  • Act as a scrum master for one or more Agile development teams.
  • Facilitate daily stand-up meetings, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Remove impediments and promote continuous improvement within the team.
  • Ensure adherence to Agile principles and best practices.

Business analysis :

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements.
  • Document user stories, use cases, and functional specifications.
  • Prioritize features and requirements based on business value and project goals.
  • Work with the development team to ensure that the delivered solutions meet business needs.

Communication and stakeholder management :

  • Serve as a liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders, ensuring clear and effective communication.
  • Provide regular project status updates and reports to stakeholders.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, product owners, and other relevant parties.

Quality assurance :

  • Monitor and ensure the quality of project deliverables and products.
  • Conduct testing and quality assurance activities to verify that requirements are met.

YOU’LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES :

  • A bachelor's degree in business, information technology, or a related field.
  • Certification in Agile methodologies (CSM, PSM, or equivalent) would be a plus.
  • Proven experience in Agile software development methodologies.
  • A strong understanding of Scrum and other Agile frameworks.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • The ability to adapt to changing project requirements and priorities.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software.
  • The ability to communicate with internal and external stakeholders outside of Quebec or English speakers on a daily basis.
