Job Summary
The Quality Assurance Specialist is to play an active role in testing new features and bug fixes in web-based and Windows applications.
Supervisory Responsibilities :
None
Office setting : Full time, in office.
Primary Job Responsibilities :
- Validate the work of the development team and test new and existing features.
- Develop automated test scripts to create repeatable UI tests.
- Create and implement test plans.
- Develop, maintain, and enhance the QA process and procedures.
Other Duties :
- Review and improve documentation.
- Troubleshoot issues and help determine the root cause of software problems.
Required Experience :
- A degree or diploma in engineering or software.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Quality Assurance and testing over a range of implementation environments.
- Experience developing automated tests using Selenium Webdriver.
- Solid SQL experience.
- Previous experience in the energy sector is an asset.
- Understanding of load and performance testing in systems built on cloud software.
