Salary : Up to $75KKey Responsibilities Preparation of documents connected to litigation process;
- Manage litigation file from beginning to endPreparation of accounts;Ability to work both independently and within a team-oriented environment;
Assist litigation partner with a busy and demanding litigation practice;Prepare and complete all necessary litigation documentation such as demand letters, motion records, pleadings, notices, affidavits, etc.
- Communicate professionally with all internal and external clientsEnsure all filing is organized and up to date on a daily basis, both physical and electronicQualifications Law Clerk or Legal Assistant Diploma / Certificate from a recognized institution;
- 4+ years relevant experience as a litigation or executive assistant Knowledge of the litigation and civil law procedures is required;
- Ability to work both independently and within a team-oriented environment;Strong technical skills with proficiency in MS Office applications;
- Knowledge of Worldox or document management program an asset;Experience with Litigation Highway, Tymetix and Soluno a definite asset;
