JOB DESCRIPTION

We are currently hiring general labour / machine operators for a successful, thriving food production facility in Mississauga.

This position will be a good fit for someone who likes working in fast paced, dynamic team environments.

Position : General Labour / Machine Operator

Pay : $18 / hour for days

$0.50 afternoon shift premium

$1.00 night shift premium

Shift Times :

Days : 7 : 00 AM - 3 : 30 PM

Afternoon : 3 : 30 PM - 12 : 00 AM

Nights : 11 : 00 PM - 7 : 00 AM

Schedule : Monday to Friday

Responsibilities

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Visual quality inspection of product
• Working on a production line
• Machine operation & daily basic preventative maintenance of the machines
• Lifting up to 50 lbs
• 50% Machine Operation and 50% General Labour

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum six month's experience as a machine operator
• Able to be flexible regarding shifts (occasional overtime / weekends)
• Must possess mechanical aptitude
• Takes initiative and can work independently
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs
• Must own safety shoes and goggles
