Analyzer Service Technician

Duties and responsibilities
- Provide technical direction and assistance to the customer in the operation, maintenance, repair, logistic support, and installation of the process control and instrumentation products we support.
- The ability to work from a remote location and interact with senior support for problems encountered during execution of field work.
- Serve existing accounts by analyzing work orders, planning daily travel schedule, investigating complaints, conducting tests and resolving problems.
- Provide timely completion of all post job and administrative duties including but not limited to customer and service reports, timesheets, job debriefs and tooling tracking.
- Perform all activities in accordance with the company and our customers Quality Management System and EH&S guidelines and procedures.
- Maintain strong customer relationships and work with the sales team to build future opportunities.
- Perform preventative maintenance on diagnostic equipment.
- Participate in educational opportunities.
- Participate in general housekeeping.
Qualifications
- Electronics / Environmental / Instrumentation / Electrical Technician or Technologist Diploma or traceable related work experience.
- 4+ years related work experience with industrial analyzers, process and safety instrumentation.
- Ability to work from home and keep and maintain small inventory of parts and required tools.
- Ability to understand and implement electrical and mechanical drawings.
- Sound judgment, interpersonal skills and communication skills.
- Critical and analytical thinking partnered with problem solving ability.
- Ability to accommodate travel and working varying hours.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to obtain all required Security and Safety Clearances and Certifications.
