• Location : Montreal Quebec (100%Onsite)
• Visa : Ca nadian (Citizen PR Open Work Permit) and USC (If anyoneis open to relocate fromUS)
• MustHave Skills : Candidate should work on Primary Structures(Wings Metals Fuselage).

Requirements

• Leada team who will develop structure and system installationconceptual layouts for the complete Airframe on new and existingaircraft programs.
• Closelyinterface with stress systems interiors and support functions suchas thermodynamics mass propertiesetc.
• Workingclosely with Program ManagementOffice
• Generatepreliminary design studies and layouts using 3Dmodeling.
• Providetechnical solutions to resolve design or manufacturingissues.
• Generateand execute weight savingsideas.
• Provideinput to impact analysis (technical cost schedule).
• Supportdirectly other engineering and operations departments.
• Leaddesign and program reviews with partner / suppliers.
• Managedesign changes through all the cycles of the change managementprocess.
• Coordinatewith the management of the various external partners of theprogram.
• Deliverengineering documentation and provide adequatevisibility.

Qualification

• Bachelors degree in mechanical / aerospace engineering or aerospace technicalfield plus a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience inaerospace or related industry.
• Possessa strong knowledge of aircraft structures and / or systemsinstallation : configuration preliminary sizing design formanufacturing detail design (sheet metal machined parts pipingcomponent assembly GD&T) material and processescertification requirements weight control and industry designstandards.
• Strongfamiliarity in aerospace manufacturing processes and capabilities.
• Familiaritywith aircraft systems overall operation and function is consideredanasset.

Tools :

• Knowledgeof CATIA V5 Enovia and MS Office is required. Knowledge of NX andTeamcenter is anasset.
• Shouldbe fluent in English.

Knowledgeof French is anasset.

Lead a team who will develop structure and system installationconceptual layouts for the complete Airframe on new and existingaircraft programs.

Closely interface with stress, systems,interiors, and support functions such as thermodynamics, massproperties, etc. Working closely with Program Management OfficeGenerate preliminary design studies and layouts using 3D modeling.

Provide technical solutions to resolve design or manufacturingissues. Generate and execute weight savings ideas. Provide input toimpact analysis (technical, cost, schedule).

Support directly otherengineering and operations departments. Lead design and programreviews with partner / suppliers. Manage design changes through allthe cycles of the change management process.

Coordinate with themanagement of the various external partners of the program. Deliverengineering documentation and provide adequate visibility.

Strong familiarity inaerospace manufacturing processes and capabilities. Familiaritywith aircraft systems overall operation and function is consideredan asset.

Tools : Knowledge of CATIA V5, Enovia and MS Office isrequired. Knowledge of NX and Teamcenter is an asset. Should befluent in English.

Knowledge of French is an asset.
