At Freehouse Collective, we believe that good hospitality is seen, and great hospitality is felt. Because of this belief, we aspire to make people feel at home in our house.
We often refer to ourselves as publicans, defined as a person who owns or manages a pub. From a social perspective, when you consider pubs (or free houses) as community centres, publicans are a neighbourhood's steward the emcee and host to social connections.
Our culture is a collective affinity for meaningful, thought and conversation provoking topics influenced by design, music, art, sports, and travel.
A constant appetite for culture and deeper learning is what attracts talent to our group. It’s what keeps them engaged. It’s what inspires us to grow.
General Managers at Freehouse embody this spirit and act as the connective thread between front of house and back of house so that the guest experience is effortless.
They are responsible for the overall health of the business including hiring, training, and retaining a team of people who are passionate about service.
Our GMs are supported by a veteran team of Directors, each responsible for a unique piece of the business. Directors work with and develop GMs with the aim of setting and achieving business goals, making space for personal growth, and energizing staff.
