One of our clients in the insurance sector is looking for a law clerk / underwriter for a permanent opportunity with a very very very competitive pay.

Work schedule - Hybrid in Oakville ( only 3 days in the office)

Responsibilities

  • Receive title insurance orders by phone, portal, online and email
  • Review underlying documentation including title reports, searches, surveys and other related documents
  • Underwrite and prepare title insurance policies
  • Respond to consumer inquiries regarding policy coverage, underwriting, prices, and procedures.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and sustain great customer connections.

Qualifications

  • Must have at least 5 years of experience in underwriting.
  • Professional and customer service-oriented, with great communication abilities.
  • Strong analytical skills, ability to pay attention to detail while managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work independently as well as with a team
  • Law Clerk designation preferred
  • Title insurance experience an asset
