Assembly Technician
Adecco is currently seeking a proficient Assembly Technician to join our clients team in Scarborough, ON. This position, offered on a temporary basis, presents an exciting opportunity for individuals skilled in assembly processes.

- Pay rate : $17 / hour.

- Shifts : Monday-Friday 7 : 00am-3 : 30pm

- Read and comprehend instructions and follow established procedures.
- Accurately assemble components and sub-assemblies.
- Collect all material and equipment needed to begin the process.
- Take precision measurements to ensure perfect fit of components.
- Use tools and manufacturing assembly line equipment to assemble units.
- Test and calibrate parts and mechanisms to ensure all components meet tolerances and quality standards.
- Repair or refit parts or units that fail tests or tolerance levels.
- Keep daily assembly production records.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production targets and deadlines.
- Report any equipment malfunctions, safety hazards, or quality issues.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment. Requirements :
- Experience as assembler, 6 months to 1 year.
- Technical knowledge and ability to read blueprints, drawings etc.
- Ability in using tools (e.g., clamps, hand drills, screwdrivers).
- Good understanding of quality control principles.
- Good communication skills (verbal and written).
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and physical condition.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production targets.
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift / move heavy objects if required.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new assembly techniques and technologies.

- High school diploma; Higher degree from a technical school.
