National Sales Manager - Canada

If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our clients' team as a National Sales Manager to manage the Canada territory for an Industrial Automation Component Manufacturing Company.

They sell automation technology products through distribution channels and directly to OEMs, helping businesses optimize their operations and achieve their goals.
Responsibilities :
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to drive revenue growth and market share expansion in the Canadian territory.
- Manage a team of sales professionals, providing leadership, guidance, and support to maximize their potential and performance.
- Cultivate strong relationships with key customers, distributors, and OEM partners to identify opportunities and address their needs effectively.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product management, and operations, to ensure alignment of sales efforts with overall business objectives.
- Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics, market trends, and competitor activity to inform decision-making and drive continuous improvement.
- Partial P&L responsibilities for the Canada territory, managing budgets, forecasting, and optimizing resource allocation to achieve financial targets.
Requirements :
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Engineering, or related field; MBA preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of sales experience in industrial controls or automation components, such as sensors, switches, controls, relays, etc.
with a proven track record of exceeding targets, required.
- Previous leadership experience, including managing teams and driving results through others.
- Strong business acumen, with the ability to understand and analyze financial data, develop strategic plans, and make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence at all levels of the organization.
- Willingness to travel as needed within Canada.
