Position Summary
This entry-level replenishment role provides analytical support to deliver established company sales, in-stocks, profit and revenue goals by using subject matter knowledge of the inter-dependencies between various systems and groups.
Responsible for all aspects of assigned account’s orders, forecasts, shipments and store execution at domestic Retail Stores.
Specific Responsibilities
TECHNICAL
- Daily reporting of store level and DC level inventory to manage in-stocks to support the business.
- Effectively manage all incoming purchase orders for accuracy and provide proactive resolution.
- Lead contact with retailer Planning and Inventory divisions relating to purchase orders, forecast, shipments and store execution.
- Develop planning tools and reports. Provide analytical support for business decision making.
COMMUNICATION / COLLABORATION
- Collaborate with Sales and Forecasting teams to develop internal shipping forecast.
- Proactively report product availability issues requiring collaboration with relevant business functions to discover a resolution.
- Develop strategic relationship with the retail account. Prepare materials for and moderate conference calls / face to face account meetings (travel required) to review forecast, shipments, sales and in-stocks.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent years of related retail or supply chain work experience
- Analytical, qualitative and quantitative skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, including deadline-sensitive priorities
- Proficient MS Office Suite skills
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to travel
Minimum Job Experience Required
1-2 years of experience with logistics and supply chain principles a plus
