Position Overview :
The AVP, Inside Sales and Sales Strategy at IG Investments will oversee the direct activities of the Inside Sales and Associate Teams.
This job will support the development and execution of the National Sales strategy, and collaborate with other departments such as Product, Marketing, Events, Technology, Advisor recruiting & onboarding, and Distribution to execute on strategic initiatives.
Responsibilities :Promotion and Presentation :
- Represent Head of Sales in various industry groups and presentations to deliver the IG Investments story.
- Represent IG Investments in recruiting and onboarding meetings by presenting the value of IG’s product shelf.
- Represent Head of Sales at various Roadshows and Regional advisor events to discuss thought leadership and promote the IG Investments brand.
Requirements :
- Education - Post-secondary education in a relevant business discipline or industry certifications (CFA, CIM, CAIA).
- Experience - Extensive mutual fund industry background, including product knowledge, knowledge of the securities industry and at least five years of management experience in mutual funds, exchange traded funds or related industry.
- Proven leadership, coaching and mentoring skills.
- Creative thinker with the ability to exercise sound judgment in responding to questions and making decisions.
- Team Player who works cooperatively with the Sales and Marketing teams.
- Strong relationship building and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multi-task in a diverse and fast-paced organization.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Additional Requirements - Travel may be required, 4-5 days a week in office.
