Position Summary
Amacon is looking for a dynamic individual with an eye for detail and high service level standards to join the Customer Care Team.
This position is the point person to our valued customers and homeowners and will provide the highest quality customer care in pre-occupancy and after occupancy of their units.
This position will report to the Project Manager that oversees Customer Care.
This position requires previous experience in Construction and is in person at our construction site.
Position Responsibilities
- Coordinating with Customer Care Coordinator regarding issues or requests from homeowners
- Assisting with pre-occupancy deficiency remediation
- Assessing deficiencies reported by homeowners during the first year of occupancy
- Conducting one-year warranty deficiency remediation
- Contacting trades to request for homeowner service and warranty work
- Assisting with key turn overs with the homeowners
- Conducting homeowner walkthroughs
- Providing updates in writing daily to the Customer Care Coordinator
- Providing daily reports of completed service requests and deficiency remediation
- Providing and maintaining deficiency tickets in the ticketing system
- Maintaining the Customer Service Vehicle in a clean manner
Experience & Requirements
- Required : Experience in Construction industry as Customer Service Representative, Administrator or experience in trades and maintenance work.
- Deficiency experience; wide range of knowledge such as drywall, painting and caulking
- A self-starter with a willingness to ask questions and find solutions;
- Ability to work independently and in cooperation with the Customer Care Team;
- Ability to develop and maintain good relationships with homeowners and contractors;
- Effective written and oral communications skills;
- Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office;
- Tech savvy and previous administration experience is an asset;
Physical Requirements
The position requires the Customer Care Representative to frequently walk, stand, and climb stairs / ladders and in / around construction site.
Must maintain professional appearance and be able to work in a construction environment, around hazardous chemicals, dust, dirt, and other particulates.
Must also have the ability to operate an automobile, read large quantities of information, operate computer equipment, speak, hear, bend, stoop, reach, lift, move and carry up to 100 lbs.
