Sheet Metal Worker

ELH Mechanical is seeking licensed and apprentice 308A Sheet Metal Workers for Commercial & Industrial sheet metal work. Applicants must be comfortable with new installations, retrofits, modifications and repairs on all sizing of ducting systems.

This position is full time with a minimum 40-hour work week. Pay structure and starting wages will be based on experience levels.

Tasks :

• Measure and mark sheet metal according to template.
• Grind and buff seams, joints and rough surfaces.
• Inspect products to ensure quality and conformity to specification.
• Cut materials using power and or hand tools .
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and specifications.
• Fit and join sheet metal parts.
• Install sheet metal products according to specifications and building codes.

Experience and / or Qualifications :

• 308A Certificate (Required).
• Driver's License (Preferred).
• Working at Heights Certificate (Preferred).
• SIN Card (Required).
• Knowledge of ducting fabrications methods (Preferred).
• Reliable.
• Ability to work in a team.
• Ability to read and construct ducting systems according to blueprints / drawings.
• Knowledge and adherence to Health and Safety rules and mandates.
