JOBDUTIES :

Examine patients andtake their histories order laboratory tests Xrays and otherdiagnostic procedures and consult with other medical practitionersto evaluate patients physical and mental health
Prescribeand administer medications and treatments
Perform andassist in routine surgery
Provide emergencycare
Provide acute care management
Vaccinatepatients to prevent and treat diseases
Deliver babies andprovide prenatal and postnatal care
Advise patients andtheir families on health care including health promotion diseaseillness and accident prevention
Provide counselling andsupport to patients and their families on a wide range of healthand lifestyle issues
Perform patient advocacyrole
Coordinate or manage primary patientcare
Provide continuous care topatients
