Responsibilities :
- Reporting to the VP Finance, you will lead complex analysis for Purpose Unlimited and its subsidiaries. You will work cross-functionally with leaders in a fast-paced environment to produce key insights for senior management to help guide decision-making and the strategic direction of the business
- Critical senior role in the finance team providing leadership to the financial planning and analysis team.
- Responsible for the annual budget / forecast / strategic process including development of long-term forecasting models by operating segment, and various scenario analysis.
- Produce reports to support the strategic direction of Purpose's business segments including profitability, unit economics, project return on investment, liquidity and working capital analysis.
- Responsible for monthly and quarterly Management and Board of Directors business updates.
- Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) and associated weekly reporting and commentary to senior management.
- Responsible for forecasting short term cash flow projections and help managing cash positions across the Company's subsidiaries.
- Support business initiatives with financial analysis to understand project / product profitability.
- Support due diligence and data request from lenders and investors, in conjunction with the Purpose Unlimited Corporate Development group.
- Perform ad hoc reporting, analysis and projects as required.
- Interacting with senior executives across Purpose Unlimited, Purpose Investments, Advisor Solutions by Purpose and Driven
- Ensure best practices are employed within the finance department, playing an active role in designing and implementing new processes within a culture of continuous improvement.
- Oversee, train and develop the finance team.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Finance, Accounting, or related field.
- Master's degree and / or CPA / CFA preferred.
- Experience in a senior finance position, with a proven ability to build strong, collaborative relationships throughout the organization at both senior and junior levels.
- Ability to communicate results in a coherent and timely manner to senior executives within the organization.
- Strong leadership skills and business acumen.
- Outstanding integrity, solid moral judgment, and the ability to make important decisions under pressure.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite and other business software.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to successfully foster new and maintain long-standing business relationships.
- Excellent communication skills, both orally and written.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize and delegate responsibilities in an effective and efficient manner.
- Expertise in problem solving, analytical thinking, and decision-making.
