Job Description
We are seeking an experience DZ Driver to join our team! In this role, you will be responsible for operating a Water Truck for dust control throughout the yard, roadways, parking lots, and other designated areas.
What you're responsible for :
- Operating a water truck equipped with a spray system for dust control around the yard
- Monitoring water levels and equipment functionality to ensure proper operation
- Coordinating with yard supervisors to determine dust control requirements and prioritize areas for treatment
- Conducting pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the water truck and related equipment, reporting any defects or issues
- Adhering to all safety protocols and procedures, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and following safe work practices
- Communicate effectively with team members and site personnel to ensure efficient coordination
Qualifications
To join our team :
- 10-18 speed manual transmission experience is required
- Valid DZ drivers license, clean drivers abstract and CVOR
- Previous experience as a water truck driver is considered an asset
- Ability to safely operate and maintain the truck and related equipment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow directions and instructions
