Job Summary
We areseeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Engineerspecialized in coating and welding. In this role you will have theopportunity to work handson with a variety of rotating andstationary equipment contributing significantly to our advancedenergy companys operations.
Responsibilities :
- Provide expert technical support in coatingand welding including testing and issuing related technicalreports.
- Offer technical consultations toShops Operating Repair Units and Contractor Shops.
- Support field installation maintenance and repair ofrotating equipment.
- Troubleshoot repair andmodify existing equipment focusing on cost reductions and processimprovements.
- Prepare design engineeringpackages for rotating equipment.
- Conducttechnical investigations for shop repair return jobs identifyingroot causes and corrective actions.
- Introduceand apply the latest technology in coating and weldingmethodologies.
- Develop and revise thedepartments technical procedures and standards.
- Mentor and share knowledge with junior engineers qualityinspectors and technicians.
- Provide technicalinput for purchasing specifications and evaluate technicalproposals.
- Collaborate with departmentengineers Consulting Services Department (CSD) other companydepartments and manufacturers.
- Coordinate withInHouse Repair Units Quality Assurance units InKingdom Contractorsand vendors for shop repair work scopes.
- Participate in vendor and customer exchangemeetings.
Requirements :
- This role required candidate topermanently relocate at Dhahran SaudiArabia.
- Bachelors Degree inWelding Engineering.
- At least 15 years ofhandson experience in thermal coating and welding.
- Proven experience in thermal coating laser cladding andwelding.
- Experience with rotating equipment inan original equipment manufacturing facility or a certifiedrepairing facility.
- Welding certification fromAWS or an equivalent organization.
- ExcellentEnglish reading and writing skills.
