The Manager, Central FP&A plays a critical role in the financial evaluation and analysis of the business overall with a focus on developing / maintaining curated, actionable reporting to support effective strategic decision making.
This position involves close collaboration with the Director, Central FP&A and other key stakeholders across the organization to develop forecasts, KPI’s and business insights.
Key Responsibilities :
Budget and Forecasting : work cross functionally to assist in the development of annual budgets and forecasts including the consolidation of business inputs from across the organization
Ownership of the period end close process (monitor the financial statements to ensure that results actualize in-line with expectations prior to final / subsequent review with CFO / DVP / Director)
Consolidate, prepare and own financial presentation materials on a monthly / quarterly / annual basis
Communicate financial results and insights effectively to stakeholders at all levels
Performance Monitoring : establish / monitor key performance indicators (revenue growth, margin, traffic, return on investment, free cash flow etc.

Financial Analysis : critical in driving the business forward, draw insights from financial results / reporting to assist the organization in achieving its strategic objectives while generating shareholder value
Financial Modeling : maintain financial models to support the predictability of the business to guide both investment and operational decision making
Continuous Improvement : proactively identify opportunities for process improvement / optimization
The ideal candidate :
Bachelor's degree in Finance / Accounting & CPA designation
3-5 years of experience in financial analysis or a related role, preferably within the retail industry
Strong communication skills (both written and verbal) with proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint; confidence presenting to senior leadership
Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with ERPs and data visualization tools (SAP, Microstrategy, Cognos etc.) is preferred
Excellent interpersonal skills; a team player who is able to act as both a leader and an individual contributor as required
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment managing multiple priorities effectively
Strategic thinker with a proactive and collaborative approach to problem-solving
